Arizona Christian Academy
Faith-Centered Care from Day One
St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church · Peoria, Arizona
Beginning Fall 2026, ACA is bringing Orthodox Christian ownership and leadership to this beloved Peoria childcare location — maintaining the same trusted services families count on, while building toward the launch of our full classical curriculum program in January 2027.
Our Rollout Plan
We believe every child in our care deserves stability, consistency, and excellence — from their very first day with us. That’s why we’re rolling out our Peoria location in two intentional phases: beginning with the same trusted childcare this community has relied on, and building toward the full Orthodox classical program we’ve been designing.
Phase 1
Fall 2026 · Opening October 2026
Now Enrolling
From day one, this will be the same trusted childcare this location has provided — but now under Orthodox Christian ownership and leadership. Families will experience the same hours, same care, same warm environment they know, with the added foundation of faith and virtue that defines everything we do at ACA.
Phase 2
January 2027 · Enrollment Opening Soon
Coming January 2027
In January 2027, we launch our full Orthodox, Montessori-inspired, classical early childhood curriculum — the same program thoughtfully designed to feed into our K–3 school at Assumption. Families already enrolled in Phase 1 childcare will have priority access and a natural, seamless transition into the new program.
💡
Already enrolled in Phase 1? Families in our fall childcare program will receive first access to Phase 2 curriculum enrollment in January, along with personalized guidance from our team to make the transition smooth and easy.
What Sets Us Apart
Whether your child joins us for childcare in the fall or waits for the full curriculum launch in January, every day at ACA’s Peoria location will be shaped by the same core commitments.
☦
This is not a secular childcare with a cross on the wall. It is an Orthodox Christian community — where prayer, virtue, and love of God shape how every child is cared for, spoken to, and known.
🤝
We’re taking over a location families already love, and we’re committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. Same hours, same faces where possible, same warm environment — better foundation.
🌿
Every child enrolled with us has a clear path: from infant and toddler care, into our classical Pre-K curriculum, and on to our K–3 school at Assumption in Scottsdale. One community, growing together.
👶
Our classrooms are small by design. Every child is known by name, cared for individually, and treated as the irreplaceable person they are — not a number in a large childcare center.
Coming January 2027
Our January 2027 curriculum launch brings a program unlike anything else available for young children in the West Valley — three classrooms of intentional, Orthodox, classical learning for ages 2½ through Pre-K.
🐑
The Lambs
Age 2½
Launching January 2027
A warm, sensory-rich, predictable environment built around love and security. The Lambs classroom focuses on attachment, daily routines, language development, sensory-motor growth, self-care, and the joyful first experiences of prayer. A gentle beginning — unhurried and full of belonging.
🕊️
The Doves
Age 3
Launching January 2027
The Doves classroom builds independence, cooperative play, expressive language, practical life skills, early literacy and mathematics, imagination, and grace and courtesy. Children begin taking on real responsibilities and practicing kindness and self-control.
✝
The Disciples
Pre-K
Launching January 2027
The Disciples classroom focuses on self-regulation, narration, phonemic awareness, handwriting readiness, number sense, problem-solving, memory, and nature study. Graduates leave confident, capable, grounded in faith, and genuinely ready for our K–3 program.
Every day in our January curriculum program is shaped by six interconnected pillars that address the whole child — not just the academic learner.
1
Prayer, Scripture, saints, hymns, feast days, church visits, service, and virtue.
2
Learning centers, imagination, collaboration, problem-solving, and child-led inquiry.
3
Self-care, grace and courtesy, food preparation, cleaning, order, and stewardship.
4
Beautiful stories, poetry, narration, memory, sacred art, traditional music, and nature.
5
Phonological awareness, early writing, number sense, patterns, measurement, and science.
6
Faith, character, language, independence, self-regulation, gross-motor development, social skills, attention, and confidence.
The January 2027 Curriculum
All three classrooms study the same annual theme at an age-appropriate level — but the theme rotates across three years, so a child who grows from the Lambs through the Disciples encounters three entirely distinct bodies of content. Nothing repeats.
The feasts remain familiar — children need the repetition of worship. What changes is the lens: different stories, saints, nature studies, art, and music every year.
